Notes from behind the camera.
Photography is rarely just about the photograph.
It is about the people I meet, the places I return to, the things I notice, and the questions that stay with me long after I put the camera away.
Field Notes is where I share those things.
Some entries will come from the street. Others will come from documentary projects, old photographs I find while going through my archives, or places I have photographed for years. I will also write about photography, cameras, editing, and the decisions that shape the way I work.
There is no fixed formula and no need to publish just for the sake of publishing.
Sometimes it will be a photograph.
Sometimes a story.
Sometimes just a thought worth keeping.
I want this to be a place for looking more carefully — at photographs, at people, and at the world around us.
If that sounds like something you’d like to follow, join me.
No noise. Just photographs, stories, and notes from behind the camera.
